Every painting begins in chaos.
Layers of colour, torn back and rebuilt. Dark tones pushed through with light. The process mirrors what we all know – that calm follows storm, that hope follows despair, that light always finds a way through.
These are paintings about that moment. The break in the clouds. The sun on water after rain. The stillness that arrives when the turbulence passes.

I offer a limited number of commissions each year for collectors looking for an original work with a particular scale, setting or atmosphere. If you’re drawn to the mood and movement of the work but need something tailored to a room, I’d be happy to discuss it.
